Kalin's dance recital

Kalin took dance again this year...sports don't seem to be her thing, but she is really liking dance class. This year she had a few extras to watch her perform: Grandpa Dick, Grandma Pat, Aunt Becky, Uncle Randy, Ben and Nick and also my Aunt Mary and cousin Kelly. Thanks for coming to watch her dance, I know it meant a lot to her!

June- Kalin's Graduation

In June, Kalin had her kindergarten graduation. She worked really hard this year, and I'm amazed at all she has learned. Ms. B her teacher was awesome and she is already looking forward to first grade.

Memorial Day

We spend Memorial Day this year at the lake. The weather was awesome!! We got to go fishing, and thanks to the boys (Grandpa, Vath and Bob) we got to have a fish fry. We also did plenty of swimming, played games, and Kalin got a make over.

Easter

We celebrated Easter this year with lots of family and friends. We started off in Ankeny where my nephew Tyler was baptized. Before the baptism we had an Easter egg hunt. Then we came back to North Liberty, where we spent Easter Sunday with some of our awesome church friends (and another Easter egg hunt)!

April 2010 Spring Game

In April we took the kids to the Spring Game. This was their first experience inside Kinnick stadium, which they loved (I guess it is in their blood). Andrew even got a few autographs on his football.

March 2010

For Spring break this year we met our friends the Gradys in Des Moines. We had lots of fun at an indoor waterpark, the kids love spending time with their family.

Grandma and Grandpa Allen's house.

After bowling we headed to Marshalltown, where we visited Grandpa and Grandma Allen's house. As you can see from the first picture, the best part of visiting Grandpa and Grandma is the treats Grandma has waiting for the kids.

So I don't know what I've been doing lately, but keeping of with the blog has obviously not been at the top of my list...here is 2010 in a nutshell.

January: Kalin lost her two front teeth...I think she looks so cute when she smiles. Unfortunately, it doesn't look good for the corn season. Also we finally broke down and got Andrew a big boy bed. As you can see we went with a loft style since his room is kind of small, it has worked out really well and no serious injuries yet!
