Sledding

Over Christmas break, we got to go sledding at Uncle Randy and Aunt Becky's house. Everyone had a lot of fun. Poor Ben had to ride on the bottom and then carry the sled back up while Kalin went a long for the ride.

Go Hawks Go!!

Kalin and her friend Addison got see the Hawks play basketball. The highlight of the night was meeting the Cheerleaders and then getting their pictures taken with them. After the pictures each of the girls had an ice cream cone, which gave them enough energy to cheer through the rest of the game!

Making sugar cookies

During one of our ice storms, the daycare closed and I got to spend the day with the kids. We decided to make sugar cookies. Both of the kids did an excellent job helping, and we had a lot of fun. As you can see Andrew looked a lot like Frosty by the time we were done.

Christmas Programs

The first two pictures are of Kalin and Andrew at the daycare Christmas program. Kalin did a wonderful job singing, "Deck the Halls and We
Wish You a Merry Christmas." Andrew was a reindeer and jingled bells to "Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer." Later Kalin sang in the church Christmas program. While she didn't really sing much she sure looked good standing up there.

Decorating our Christmas tree

We had quite the Christmas tree experience this year.....three falls and a new artificial tree and all was well in our household. Kalin was the ultimate light helper while Andrew helped with the ornaments. Later Kalin and I tried to decide which would be better for the top of the tree, the angel or the star....the star won.

Piano Buddies

Here are Andrew and Hannah playing the piano at Thanksgiving. They were rockin'

Playing in the leaves

We had a new experience this year....leaves. Bob sucked them all up with the rider, and then we gave the kids the chance to jump in them. Kalin had a ball, and we couldn't get her out of them. Andrew preferred the rider!
