Father's Day

This is Bob and the kids in our front yard on Father's Day. (Notice my pretty flowers!)
The kids picked out an appropriate cake for Dad on Father's Day, Bob the Builder. They love their Dad so much, he does a terrific job.

Like Father...Like Son

After watching Dad mow the lawn, Andrew ran a got his mower and was trying to help! (He was also playing the the sprinkler which explains why he only has a diaper on.)

Camping out in the living room.

Over Memorial Day weekend, I painted Andrew's bedroom (which I will post pictures of once I get stuff hung on the wall.) Anyway, since Andrew couldn't sleep in his room we let the kids camp out on the living room floor for two nights. It took them a while to fall asleep, but otherwise they had a lot of fun.

Garden Time

We decided that we would try our hand at gardening this year. I will be the first one to tell you that I have no clue as to what I am doing, but so far so good. Bob and Kalin were a hugh help digging up the sod, and the kids enjoyed the wheel barrel rides.

Family outing.

We took the kids to the Putman museum in Davenport...which was an actual museum. (We were thinking that we were going to a children's museum, instead I taught the kids about salvary, the Civil War, and the American Indians.) Needless to say the high light was playing on the train and the old kitchen.

Andrew has more skills!

Not only can Andrew make a basket, but he can also get his foot stuck in a can and walk around crying until Dad helps him out.

Andrew has skills!

This is Mr. Drew getting ready for his big shot.

Check out that form...
And the follow through. Actually he is getting pretty good at making baskets, the hoop is set at four feet and he is consistenly making shots.
