Jamaica - 10 year anniversary

This is Athena and I with England. We all went on a glass bottom boat ride the second day we were in Jamaica, he took a liking to us all and then took us snorkeling a couple of different times. England also brought us fresh sugar cane to try...he couldn't believe that we didn't have any water around us. He was great as was the whole staff.

The boys played alot of ping pong, and then the last day we were there we found a ping pong table on the beach...and had couples tournaments. It was so much fun spending time with our frineds the Grady's.

We decided to celebrate our 10 year anniversary by going to Jamaica. We went with our good friends the Grady's who were also celebrating their 10 year anniversary. It was so much fun...we literally did nothing but relax and laugh! It was been a wonderful 10 years (most of the time). I love Bob's sense of humor and how after 10 years he still makes me laugh so hard I cry!

4th of July

Over the 4th of July we got to celebrate Tranae's 13th birthday. Kalin thinks Tranae is the coolest person in the world, and Tranae is very patient when it comes to spending time with Kalin. Tranae rocks...which is why I made her the cool cake below!

Niabi Zoo

The kids wanted to take this picture for Great Grandma Allen...she LOVES giraffes.

For Father's Day we went to the Niabi Zoo. It was fun spending the day as a family and celebrating what a great job Bob does being a Dad.

Soccer

Andew tried soccer out this year. He sort of liked it...but after warm ups he was always too tired to play in the actual game. He says next year he wants to try t-ball.

We took the kids camping for the first time in June, in Dubuque. The kids did a really good job and it was fun spending time with Bob's family.

In May, Andrew got a new Spiderman big boy bike....anytime that kid is on his bike it is an adventure!

Kalin has wanted to get her ears pierce for a REALLY long time. I told her that she needed to be old enough to take care of her ears by herself, and that it felt like she would be getting two shots in her ears. Finally, she was ready for both and she did a great job!

Kindergarten Graduation

Kalin graduated from kindergarten in June...she was great student and loved her teacher Ms. B. For each student Ms B. chose a character award, Kalin received an award for kindness.
