Camping out in the living room.

Over Memorial Day weekend, I painted Andrew's bedroom (which I will post pictures of once I get stuff hung on the wall.) Anyway, since Andrew couldn't sleep in his room we let the kids camp out on the living room floor for two nights. It took them a while to fall asleep, but otherwise they had a lot of fun.

Garden Time

We decided that we would try our hand at gardening this year. I will be the first one to tell you that I have no clue as to what I am doing, but so far so good. Bob and Kalin were a hugh help digging up the sod, and the kids enjoyed the wheel barrel rides.

Family outing.

We took the kids to the Putman museum in Davenport...which was an actual museum. (We were thinking that we were going to a children's museum, instead I taught the kids about salvary, the Civil War, and the American Indians.) Needless to say the high light was playing on the train and the old kitchen.

Andrew has more skills!

Not only can Andrew make a basket, but he can also get his foot stuck in a can and walk around crying until Dad helps him out.

And the follow through. Actually he is getting pretty good at making baskets, the hoop is set at four feet and he is consistenly making shots.

Visit from Grandma Peggy, Aunt Melissa, and Hannah

In April, we had a visit from Grandma Peggy, Aunt Melissa, and Hannah. As you can see they came for dinner, and we had some delicious chocolate dessert...which was a hit! The next day we took the kids to the Par-Tee Zone where the climbed and played on the indoor play structure. I think that Grandma Peggy was offically the oldest person to ever make it to the top of the red slide! The kids also had fun playing on the swing set the the backyard.

New haircut!!!

I put Bob in charge of getting Andrew's haircut. When they came home I couldn't tell the two apart...it was a little shorter than I was expecting. Oh well, hair grows!
